When you create your meditation room, in addition to candles, you will want to decorate it with sacred objects that are meaningful to you.  Listed below are some items we have in our meditation room to get your creative juices flowing.

Tibetan Bowls

Tibetan Singing Bowls

We begin and end each of our daily meditations by sounding our Tibetan bowl. There are several sources of these bowls available online.  I've attached a few links below to information about Tibetan bowls from the website. You may also find these at local metaphysical bookstores.

Quartz Crystal

Rose Quartz

Quartz and Other Crystals

We love the energy that crystals bring into our home and our meditation room is adorned wth many that we have collected over the years.  Each is unique and provides a wonderful focus for meditation.  I am particularly fond of rose quartz and have several specimens.  Below are some sources of information about crystals.  I have not purchased from any of these vendors.  I am simply including them as a service to help you begin your exploration.

Salt Lamp

Himalayan Salt Lamps

We have several of these lamps throughout our home. They are made of natural crystal salt mined from underground salt mines in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. This crystal salt is hundreds of millions of years old and, as a result, has special properties and high mineral content Heat from the bulb (in our lamps) or flame (in our candle holders) causes the salt to emit negative ions These negative ions bond with the pollutants in the air (positive ions) and neutralize them.
